Day 27 - 04 July 2011 Wolesley, Saskatchewan to Moosomin, Saskatchewan

I set off this morning at 7:45 a.m.  Hot, sunny and a Tail Wind! Perfect riding conditions.  I am still on the Trans-Canada Highway.  After travelling 20 km. my rear tire went flat.  I called in a specialist!  He comes complete with an Airstream trailer and a weiner dog! He had me back on the road within 45 minutes.  Lots of carnage on the road today.  I saw a dead moose, a dead deer, a dead skunk, a dead raccoon, a dead porcupine and 2 dead snakes!  I saw a little garter snake, slithering on to the shoulder and I told him, if he went much farther he wouldn't live much longer!  Our best find of the day was a cowboy, checking on the herd.  I stopped for lunch with Brian at Wapella.  After lunch the wind had shifted across the bike again from the north/west.  You could see the wind waves in the prairie grass.  We made it to Moosomin by 1:30 p.m. and the temperature was 25 degrees.  Not long after we arrived, Bev and Martin cycled in and we had coffee at the Witches Brew, together.  Today I cycled 125 km.
